Rocky Mountain Ride Guides is super excited to be offering another 4-day kids camp from August 26 - 29 out of the Hinton Bike Park. Younger rippers (6-9 years old) will ride in the morning (9 am - noon) and the older riders (10- 15 years old) will rip in the afternoon (1 - 4 pm). All of our coaches are PMBIA certified.On day 1, riders will be grouped initially by age and then (re)grouped as necessary according to skill level.Registration cost is $200.

This is the course to progress your skills to the next level. Maybe you have been riding for a while and are looking for a new challenge or some critical improvement. Maybe you did our Fundamentals course and are now looking to further improve your riding and your confidence. Join us for MTB 20 over 2, 3-hour sessions.
- Optimized body position for stability
- Braking techniques - gradual, consistent, modulate
- Cornering: berms vs. flat corners
- Terrain awareness and line selection (intermediate)
- Steep and/or technical climbing & descending including roll-downs
- Basic manoeuvres (i.e. front and rear wheel lifts)
- Intro to pressure control (pumping and lifting)
- Intro to wheels off the ground (jumps & drops)

Participants should bring their own bike. Ideally, participants will bring their tools that would normally be with them on a ride. A variety of multi-tools and tire levers will be available for use for those who don’t have them. The clinic covers the following trail troubles:
1. Flats and tire troubles
2. Broken / damaged chain repair
3. Bent rotor
4. Bent derailleur hanger / bent derailleur
5. Broken derailleur
6. Bike First Aid kit
